A Green Thumb

If you have a green thumb but not the space, you can still indulge the gardening ‘bug” in you and have your mini green garden. All you need is a patio or a balcony or even just a window sill! Ample light and water and organically fertilized soil will go a long way in giving you a fresh green salad with every meal. Light and space are the two essential factors you must think of when choosing which plants to grow. The amount of sunlight changes with the climate. There is less direct and less intense sunlight during the winter months. Summer usually has the most intense sunlight where the sun is at its highest point, its rays touching all the vegetation on earth.
